This Martial Eagle killed a Guineafowl on the ground and hoisted it on top of this thorn tree to eat in peace. It started plucking out the Guineafowl’s feathers but all the while was looking all around and above to spot potential thieves.
After a few nibbles at the Guineafowl, this Martial Eagle lifted its prey out of the thorn bush, which took a major effort. The awesome power this bird was evident.

This Martial Eagle was powering away from the waterhole after a long drink. It flew over to a large dead tree where it landed and had a perfect point from which to survey his domain
